The Laager 21 family gathered at Leentjiesklip from 22–24 May 2026 for their AGM Outspan, blessed with perfect winter weather and very little wind. The weekend was a blend of tradition, fun, and community spirit.

Highlights included:

• 🌅 Friday Arrival – Campers settled in, enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and shared soup and sweet treats around the fires.

• 🥾 Saturday Morning Adventures – Some members trained for the upcoming Fish River hike, others explored shops or tried their luck at the casino, while many simply relaxed at camp.

• 📋 AGM & Fellowship – Members gathered for the annual meeting, followed by cake and tea provided by the club, and later indulged in savory and sweet braai pies prepared by enthusiastic bakers.

• 🔥 Evening Kuier – The night was spent around the geselsvuur, sharing stories and laughter.

• 🌞 Sunday Farewell – Another beautiful day began with the indaba before most packed up, while a lucky few stayed on to enjoy the week.

The newsletter also recorded minutes of the indaba, visitor attendance, birthdays, fines (always a fun tradition with proceeds going to charity), and reminders about upcoming events such as the Birthday Outspan at AltydWater and the NAGM at Maselspoort in September 2026.

With camaraderie, humor, and plenty of food, the Leentjiesklip AGM weekend was a true reflection of Laager 21’s spirit — camping, community, and unforgettable memories.
